iPad and Norway

Summary: This article talks about how the Prime minister Jens Stoltenberg is using the iPad a lot more frequently lately. He says it lasts a lot longer than a lap top or cell phone. He's been using it a lot because the airlines in Norway have been delayed from the ash of the volcano so he uses the iPad to get his work done, instead of traveling.

My Thoughts: I think this is very smart of him because the iPad can be used for days and instead of traveling he just jumps on his iPad. Also the iPad would get a lot of publicity if the Prime minister uses it all the time.
My thoughts about the ash affecting Norway is that it is horrible and for some people it is affecting their everyday lives. or it is canceling some people's vacation time. I feel bad for them and i hope it stops soon.

One in five live alone in Norway

Summary: The article talks about how one out of five norwegians live alone and 60% live as a couple. Three out of four couples are married. These statistics are taken from the 3.7 million people above 18 who live in Norway. This article talks about the statistics of same sex marriages, couples, old people, and people living alone. Most old people live alone. Also, most married couples are found along the coast of Norway.

My thoughts: I think this a pretty interesting and weird article. Even though the whole article tells mostly statistics and nothing about why most people live alone i still like it. I feel bad for the people and old people who live alone. It makes me wonder why most people live alone in Norway. It's probably the easiest way to live out there. I also thought it was interesting that most married couples live by the coast. I think this is because the coast is a pretty and fun place to raise a family.
